Katie has 20 years of experience in the design industry with a bachelors degree in interior design. Her main focus is the customers needs and function of the overall design. She loves to create beautiful exterior spaces that pin points the clients wish list. She is a Mom of two boys who keep her on her toes. She is fueled by faith and humor, leading by integrity and honesty.

“I’m a stereotypical DIYer, a lot of times to save money but also I like learning new things. When we wanted to redo our yard, we knew we needed help. My wife wanted a place to grow all of our own fruits and vegetables, and I wanted a desert oasis. Katie was awesome to work with, she asked us questions about what our needs and wants were, and we even shared with her some pictures of styles and things we liked. I was a bit hesitant to work with a designer because being a DIY person I thought I would just google some things and mimic something I liked. Well I’m glad I didn’t do that and that we hired Katie. It was money well spent. When she delivered the design to us we were blown away. I wasn’t really expecting a 3D video and the level of detail of even the types of plants. She incorporated all of the things we wanted, and designed our unusable front yard into an outdoor living area that is functional, looks great, and we love it. The backyard is awesome too. I’m sure it’s added more value to the house than it cost us to do, and our friends and neighbors love the new yard too. We are outdoors a lot more now, which was the goal. Her 3D renderings and videos were so detailed it enabled us to implement everything and the project went fairly quickly. I added a few things different as we went along, but stuck closely to the design as we loved it so much. If you are a DIYer and thinking you want to do the whole thing on your own, at least hire Katie to do the design for you. You won’t regret it, and you’ll love the results.”
